Do you have a pending traffic ticket in Williamson, Travis, Burnet, Bell, Milam, or a nearby county??? If you have a regular (non-commercial) driver's license, I will represent you on a speeding ticket or other traffic ticket received in Williamson County for only $399 in legal fees. Why plead guilty or no contest to a traffic ticket when you could possibly avoid a conviction by getting a deferred adjudication or possibly a six hour driving safety class? Texas law allows you to take a driving safety class every 12 months if you have a valid non-commercial Texas driver's license and proof of insurance for the day you received the ticket. Even if you took a driving safety class within the past 12 months, the court has the ability to allow you to take a driving safety class to dispose of the case.
If you hire me to represent you, I will try to get the best deal I can for you to avoid getting points on your driver's license. Too many convictions can lead to increased car insurance costs, a license suspension or to a surcharge for three years. I will represent you in any municipal court or Justice of the Peace Court in Williamson County for only $399 in legal fees. This fee assumes we can dispose of your case without the need for a trial by judge or a trial by jury. The first two court appearances are included. If more than one traffic offense is charged on the same ticket (for a single traffic stop), then I charge $100 additional for each offense after the first one alleged.
If you have a commercial driver's license, the legal fees will be $100 more.
Most prosecutors and courts will work with me to get you some disposition other than a final conviction which will show on your driving record and possibly increase your car insurance rates. Why would a prosecutor or court offer something other than a final conviction? Because most prosecutors and courts do not want to have to deal with the possibility of another jury trial which takes up a whole lot more time than offering a reasonable plea bargain on a traffic ticket.
You are, of course, responsible for paying any court costs or fines levied by the court as part of a plea bargain on a traffic ticket. You will have the final approval on any deal I work out with a prosecutor or court on a traffic ticket, just that same as if it were a more serious criminal charge.
If you have a ticket in a county that is adjacent to Williamson County, the above fees are increased by $100. If you have a ticket issued in a county other than Williamson County and adjacent counties, please call me to discuss what my fee would be. If you have an arrest warrant issued for you because you failed to take care of the ticket before a warrant was issued, then please call me to discuss what my legal fees will be.
Please feel free to call me if you have any questions. I prefer that you have the ticket and copies of any correspondence to and from the court in front of you when you call me. I also prefer that the person who received the ticket (not a friend or parent or spouse or someone else) call me. My fees on traffic tickets are payable by cash, personal check, money order, or cashier's check. I also accept all major credit cards.
